Rhubarb resembles a celery stalk however in shades of red. This vegetable has a tart flavour and is predominantly used in desserts however Rhubarb is also very popular as a chutney or a jam. Rhubarb is available from the end of Winter through to the end of Autumn.
Rhubbarb is sold by the bunch
